Excuses (what is Yours)

What is an excuse? It mean to plead for self, or an alibi or an excuse to be else where.

On Saturday I baptized a young Girls who believes in Jesus Christ and have decided to live her life accordingly. she was only 12 years old. I know what some may say, that she is just a little girl, but I say to them at least she has sense to acknowledge God and Jesus Christ to live her life to please God. Later that same day, I was at the barber shop listening at two men in their 30's saying that they don't believe the preachers, and what the bible say's, they believe in Jesus and don't have to do what the bible say's because it was written by men. The math book was written by men, but if you want to pass math and get the right answer, you have to follow the instructions of the math book and teacher or you will get the problem wrong. Man made the laws for this nation, but if you break them and get caught you will go to jail or pay a penalty.

When I traveled to foreign countries, the language was different, but 1+1 still added up to 2. I never saw in any of the countries that I went 1+1 came out to something different than 2. I never seen a stop sign that says stop if you want to: When you get caught by the officer, you get the ticket for running the stop sign. LUKE: 14th Chapter, 16 - 23 verses, Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 and sent his servant at supper to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuses. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground and I must need go and see it; I pray thee have me excused 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 20 and another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come 21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry(Jesus) said to his servant, go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed and the halt, and the blind 22 and the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room 23 and the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Excuses that people have today: I had to work, the preacher is not right, the church is not right, the church just want your money(all these businesses want is your money and you have no problem giving it to them). I haven't found the right church, I don't have anything to wear, I over slept, they keep you in church to long and so much more excuses. On the day of judgement those excuses will not work with Jesus. MATTHEW 7th Chapter, 21 - 23 verses, Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then Will I profess unto them I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

There is no excuse for anyone not serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, no matter what excuse you have.
