Giving an Account
Have you ever been in line at the store and gave the cashier your debit or credit card and it was declined. I have been in that situation a couple of times.
We should always know how much or about how much we have in a certain account so that we don't be embarrassed.
It is the same way spiritually with Jesus. You need to know what Jesus has on you on your spiritual account, that is written by your name in his books. You can Repent and have a clean spiritual account with him, or you can let your spiritual account with Jesus be declined or be rejected, and he say to you, "away From Me I Never Knew You".
You will also have to give an Account of your life to Jesus on the day of Judgement.
Romans 14th Chapter, 11 & 12 Verses, For it is Written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Just because God has let people get away for awhile, it does not mean that they have gotten off, it only mean that God has put it off to see if they will repent to Jesus.
Matthew 12th Chapter, 36 verse, But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of Judgement.
I can advise people of the Gospel and what they are suppose to do, and tell them as a preacher of the Gospel, what God and his word tell them what they are to do. In the end it is up to you.
2 Corinthians 5th Chapter, 10 Verse For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ: that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to the he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Those that are in Jesus be careful what you put on your Account. Obey your pastor in Jesus and those appointed over you: Hebrews 13th Chapter, 17 verse, Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief:
Preachers give God and Jesus an account of those who are his. He tell God and Jesus about the unruly, disobedient and rebellious while you are alive. On the day of Judgement you will have to give account by yourself.
